Natalie (Montoya) Pierce Obituary

Natalie Marie (Montoya) Pierce passed from this life Thursday,

November 3, 2022 in Dallas, TX at the age of 55. She was born September 11, 1967 in Bakersfield, CA to parents, Roger and Pauline (Beagles) Montoya.

Natalie and Sam Pierce were united in marriage November 24, 1990 in Bakersfield, CA before moving to Broken Bow, OK where they shared thirty-one plus years together before her departure.

Natalie was a selfless woman. She dedicated her life to every man, woman, child, or animal in need. Her joy and purpose was found within her family, faith, and friends. No matter the setting or situation, her ideal time spent was everyone together, with a full belly, laughing. She went above and beyond to ensure it happened and made sure there was plenty for anyone who might turn up unannounced. She especially cherished spending time with her grandchildren and being a Mimi to them all, and she was equally cherished by each of them. Natalie worked with Little Dixie Head Start for thirteen years, which led her to an associate’s degree in child development. She volunteered with the ARK, volunteered with church, and at the nursing home. If ever she found herself not being a caretaker, another soul would be placed on her path, and she always answered the call. She gave herself endlessly, never asking for anything in return, except to be loved. She brought joy, light, and healing to each soul she encountered, and never gave up on anyone. She was a faithful wife, mother, and servant to the holy spirit and her community. She was an angel on this earth, and now she has her eternal wings. She will be dearly missed by everyone, and never forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Pauline Montoya, and her dearest friend, Annette Auld.

Natalie is survived by her loving husband, Sam Pierce; children, Jeremy

Pierce and Emmaly "Angelle” Boone of LA, Amanda Pierce and David Axtell,

Amber and Ty Skelton all of Broken Bow; sisters, Cindy Montoya,

Angela Montoya and Loni Flores all of Bakersfield, CA; grandchildren, Abigale, Phoenix and Leonidas Skelton, Juniper, and Ezekiel Pierce Axtell; and a host of souls she impacted in this life.
