Nicholas Eric Watson, age 35, of Ringold, passed from this life, July 16, 2021, in Paris, Texas.
He was born on May 1, 1986, in Dallas, TX, to Ronny Watson and Betty Tom Montgomery.
Eric grew up dancing in Pow Wows and was a part of the “Wolf Pack Dancers.” He was a fancy dancer. He and his brothers danced together at all Pow Wows. He was a big believer in his Indian Heritage.
He had the biggest smile. He loved to have all of his family and friends come hangout, grill, and tell crazy stories. He was the biggest jokester of the family. He loved all his family with all his heart and was very protective of everyone. His nieces and nephews adored him. He and his wife’s saying was “He is hers and she is his.” Their saying for their children was, “Our babies are our everything good in this world, the reason we lived and breathed, they are our existence.”
Eric was preceded in death by his father, Ronny Watson; and grandparents, Enecy and John Tom.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sierra Watson; mother, Betty Tom Montgomery; bonus mother, Janean Parker; children, Nashoba and Tushka Watson, Alaysia, Ayla, and Zaniya Watson; brothers, Chris Osage, Sam Smith, Terrence Hernandez and Cassie, of Oklahoma City, Rodney Watson, of Pasadena, TX; special aunt, Vanessa Tom; sisters, Chantea and Paul Cleckler, of Ringold, Vicky Wood, of Rufe, and May Smith; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A Wake Service for family and friends will be on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.
