Patricia Ann “Roan” Wood passed away on November 15, 2025, in Plano, Texas. She was born on April 23, 1957, in DeQueen, Arkansas.

Patricia was a great mom, nana, and great-Nana whose greatest joy was caring for the people she loved. She enjoyed cooking, tending to her garden each year, and sharing its harvest with family and friends. Patricia had a generous spirit–whether it was vegetables from her garden or her caramel coffee treat, she wanted everyone around her to enjoy it too. She adored spending time with her family, and caring for her cat, Savage. “Patricia especially enjoyed her stained-glass work”.

She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene Roan and JoAnne (Graham) Ashalintubbi; her husband, Robert “Bobby” Wood; her infant son, Robert Eugene Wood; her sister Karen (Roan) Ashalintubbi and husband JR Ashalintubbi; and grandson Remmington Wood.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Shawna Wood, and her son, Darren Wood; her brother, Gary Roan, and sister, Linda Laster; stepdad, Mack “Pappy” Ashalintubbi; her grandchildren Amissa, Jairus, Alyssa, and Skyler Wood; and a host of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Patricia had a solid hope of seeing her loved ones again soon. That hope brought her comfort and peace. Her kindness, warmth, and love will be remembered by all who knew her.

Graveside Services are set for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 25, 2025, Eagletown Cemetery, Eagletown, OK.
