Paul Forrest Wicks

Paul Forrest Wicks, 53, passed from this life Saturday, September 5, 2020, at his home in Tulsa, Ok.

Paul was born on May 26,1967, in Altus, Ok, to Rev. Forrest Wicks & Kathryn (Claye) Wicks.

Paul graduated from Talihina High School in 1985 and later form the Spartan College of Aeronautics & Technology.

Paul owned and operated Wicks Inspection Co in Tulsa for 25 years. Throughout his career, Paul nurtured many lifetime friendships with his coworkers. Paul was an avid collector of coins and paintings and enjoyed spending weekends at his ranch in Delaware, Ok. However, his favorite past time was giving all his friends and family a hard time! Paul was a friend to all, was loved by all, and always lent a helping hand.

Paul married Elena Anatolievna on September 27,2008, in Eureka Springs, Ar.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Forrest Wicks, and his sister, Sheri Wicks Baker.

Paul leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Elena Wicks, of the home, and a special niece, Diana, who traveled from Russia to spend summers at their home; his mother, Kathryn Wicks of Broken Bow, OK; two sisters, Beth Calvin and Coach Reed, Deborah Roberts, both of Broken Bow, Ok; one brother, David Wicks of Eufaula, Ok; and brother- in- law, Wayne Baker of Ft. Gibson, Ok; 8 nieces,  Heather, Amber, Bridgett, Whitney, Tera, Miranda, Sebrina, Olivia; 3 nephews, Shawn, Waylon, and Dakota; twenty-one great nieces and nephews; mother and father- in- law, Galina Porozova & Anatoly Porozov of Kanensk- Vralsky, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia.  

A visitation will be Saturday September 12,2020 from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Services will be Saturday, September 12,2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Bunch Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.  Officiating George Michalopulos, Reader for Holy Apostles Orthodox Christian Church in Bixby, Ok.
