Paula Dianne Wilkes

Eagletown resident, Dianne Wilkes, 62, entered her heavenly home on Thursday, December 10, 2020.

The daughter of Chuck and Shirley (Burke) Leonard, Diane was born on March 12, 1958 in Lakeview, Oregon. She was a 1976 graduate of Eagletown High School and on August 11, 1978 Dianne and Marty Wilkes were united in marriage in DeQueen, AR. She owned and operated “Simply Flowers” from 1999 to 2014. Dianne loved her family and friends fiercely, especially her grandchildren. When not making memories with her family, Dianne enjoyed antiquing, going to yard sales, and raising her newly found cats. Her laughter and witty comments will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Chuck Leonard; grandparents, John and Lessie Leonard, Clarence and Bertha Burke.

Dianne will be forever cherished by her husband of 42 years, Marty; two children, Amanda Wilkes and her partner Michelle Harper of Tulsa, OK, Colie Wilkes and his wife, Sabrina, of Eagletown; mother, Shirley Leonard of Eagletown; six grandchildren, Kaden, Kinsley, Harper, Aubrey, Jeremy and Jessica; brother, Wesley Leonard and his wife, Joanie, of Eagletown; sister, Nancy Whitney and her husband, Mike, of Tennessee; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.

To her special sisters, Suzette, Janet and Joanie, Dianne wrote” Thank You for taking me everywhere, on special trips, vacations, concerts and to my treatments and always taking good care of me.”

Visiting hours will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at the Eagletown Gymnasium with Joe Cook and Mark Hannah speaking.
