Peggy Anita Burke-Tipton passed from this life Monday, January 9, 2023 at the age of 88. She was born Friday, October 5, 1934 in Hochatown, OK the daughter of Leon and Thelma Minnie Gladys (Johnson) Burke.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Thelma (Johnson) Burke; brother, Ronnie Burke; son-in-law, Kelly Ware and grandson, Chris Brown.

Peggy leaves to cherish her memory husband, J.C. Tipton of the home, children, Debi Rains and husband, Joe, Jackie Tipton, Anita Tipton, Ramona and Danny Kennedy all of Broken Bow; brothers, Billy Burke and wife, Sherry of Broken Bow, Kenneth Burke of DeQueen, AR, Larry and Cathy of Broken Bow, sister-in-law, Sue Burke of Broken Bow; grandchildren, Jessie Brown, Lisa Poole, Lacey and Todd McDaniel, Jaime Tipton, Jordan Tipton, Kelli Dawn and Dekarlus Burris, Carrie and Gary Johnson, Mason and Kaylee Spencer; great-grandchildren, Haley, Justin, Jaxon, Deacon, Boston, Elliott, Shantell, Terrance, Kelsey and Michael, Daniel and Breeanna, Riley, Cambrey, Landrey and Oaklynn; great-great-grandchildren, Indyana, Phoebe, Halen, Kaisley Jane, Kylie Dawn and Dahkota Kyle; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services are set for 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2023 at Broken Bow Church of God with Rev. Wayne Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at Hochatown Cemetery, Hochatown, OK.
