Phyllis J (Morris) McCain completed her earthy journey on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the age of 79. She was born to parents, Joseph Lester and Beatrice (Blackstone) Morris on April 2, 1945 in Blythe, CA.

Gerald and Phyllis were united in marriage on March 25, 1961 in Yuma, AZ and shared sixty one years together before his passing.

Phyllis was a member of the New Life UPC Church in Broken Bow. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a mom to everyone. She loved spoiling her grands and great grands. She had a green thumb and loved to garden and take care of her flowers and enjoyed birdwatching. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gerald Wayne McCain; son, Scotty Wayne McCain; brothers, Richard Morris and Joseph Morris; sisters, JoAnn Hemmingway and Betty Tarbell; grandson, Joshua McCain

Phyllis  leaves to cherish her memory, children, Paula Leamons of Hot Springs, AR, Becky Childs and husband, Charlie , Roxann Flowers and Mark Engels, Christy Morris and husband, Billy all of Broken Bow, OK; sister, Brenda Young and husband David of Redding, CA;  brother, Don Morris Sr. and wife Teresa of Hot Springs, AR.; grandchildren, Stephanie McCain, Jill McCain, Jamie McCain, Hayley Solano, Josie Morris, Caitlin Crosby, Chelsea Lamphier, Greg Flowers, Bailey Flowers, Joshlin Flowers and Ashlin Flowers; twenty-five great-grandchildren; special friend, Charlene Shelton of Longview, TX; caregiver, Ruth Roberts; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home, Broken Bow, OK.

Funeral Services are set for 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2024 at New Life UPC Church, Broken Bow, OK with Rev. Ben Pollock and Rev. Johnny Cheek officiating. Interment to follow at Broken Bow Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK.
