Resa Kay Alderete passed from this life Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the age of 59. She was born November 4, 1962 in Talihina, OK to parents, Soloman and Sarah Jane (Lewis) Anna.

Resa and Benito Alderete were united in marriage May 18, 1984 in Clarksville, TX and shared thirty-eight years together.

Resa was a member of the Choctaw Baptist Church in Idabel. She gave her life to God at the early age of 19. Her favorite scripture was Psalms 37:4. She loved her family and Church family deeply. Resa was wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Jane Obe; her father, Soloman Anna and brother, Kenneth Loma.

Resa leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Benito Alderete of the home; children, Jason Anna of Idabel, Sofia Alderete, Cecilia Standridge and Cecilio Alderete all of Broken Bow; siblings, Edward Loma of Smithville, Queenie Austin of Broken Bow, Oleda Duckett of Broken Bow, Wayne and Faye Anna of Wright City, Soloman Anna Jr. and Wife, Jackie of Broken Bow, Clayton Anna of Wright City, Bill Anna of Broken Bow, Juan and Benita Torres of Albion, OK, Jessie “Jay” Anna of Broken Bow, Sharitha and Esteban Borjas of Golden; grandchildren, Josh Anna, Blake Anna, Terish Tisho, Jacely Anna, Svend Anna, Maci Standridge, Jacob Standridge and Caleb Standridge; great-grandchildren, Elliana Tisho and Joshua Anna Jr;  a host of other family and friends.

A Wake Service will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services are set for 2:00 P.M., Friday afternoon at Victory Life Church in Broken Bow with Bro. Joseph Carroll, Bro. Mark Williams and Bro. Bob Williams and officiating. Interment to follow at Goodwater Cemetery.
