Rhianna Raelyn Maness Obituary

Rhianna Raelyn Maness gained her heavenly wings on January 26, 2026. Rhianna was born at Talihina Choctaw Nation Hospital on July 13, 2007. She was the beloved sibling to Courtney and Quinton.

Rhianna spent much of her life in and out of numerous hospitals in her eighteen years here on earth. If you knew her you would soon love her. Most people were amazed at her strength and courage as she faced an unlimited amount of health scares, but she persevered through it all as the champion that we were all blessed to see. She loved riding on the “bump bump” road and would bless you with loads of giggles. Rhianna was loved and cared for all of her life by her devoted mom. She spent much of her young life going to work with Melissa, she also was a frequent spectator at her brothers and sisters sporting events. She met so many people that were impressed with her resilience to endure all her health problems and still be there with her family. Rhianna completed elementary school at Lukfata before being able to travel to England, where she completed her education at Castle Hill School. She was able to engage in activities and made some amazing classmates and friends. It was not easy for her mother to let go and let her be independent, but through grace she let go. The same as she is being asked to now. Give her strength for all the days ahead. Rhianna was unmistakably one of the strongest people you would ever encounter, and she constantly amazed all her caregivers and doctors.   As a young girl, she could not get enough of her brother and sister swinging her high into the air. She was blessed with a Daddy that always told her how beautiful and strong she was and was always up for Rhianna “cuddles”. She will be missed by so many that were blessed to see her cheeky little personality that had bloomed in her later years. While we are all devastated with the loss of our little princess, we know that her frail body is finally healed and free from all the health issues. Rhianna attended Fresh Beginnings Church in Finley, OK with her father and was richly loved by her church family.  She also traveled and lived in England for four years and attended Castle Hill School where she was loved by all the staff members. She made lovely friends and experienced such a wonderful journey of learning.

Rhianna was preceded in death by grandparents, JL and Sandra Maness and Linda Phelps; aunt DeeDee Maness; uncle, Alan Talley; cousins, Spencer Talley and DaNella Maness.

Rhianna is survived by her loving parents, Melissa Burley and Darren, along with Darin Maness and Krystal; sister, Courtney Colson and Dustin; brother, Quinton Maness and Kara, bonus sisters, Kathryn Redding and Natalie Wallis and Mitchell. She was a precious aunt to Kash, Klaycie, Charlie, Caroline, Hollyn, Calvin, Bonnie and Shoale. Rhianna was the youngest granddaughter to Wayne Phelps and left to cherish her aunt Angie Talley, uncles, David Maness and Cindy, Dustin Maness and Tandy. She was nearly the youngest of her cousins, Jennifer, Dillon, Whitney, Marissa, Dalton and Savanna. Rhianna would like to honorably mention her bonus brother, Clayton Richards, special caregivers, Emma Crossley, KoCo, Masooma and Kahly. Thank you to her wonderful teacher, Dom and all the staff from Castle Hill School. She loved her bonus aunts, uncles and family that she left in England. Rhianna will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
