Rhonda Marie (Beutelschies) Grant, a beacon of kindness and joy, passed away on August 3, 2025, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Born on January 28, 1952, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to parents, Eugene and Mahdeen Beutelschies. Rhonda's life was one of unwavering dedication to her community, her family, and the countless lives she touched with her warmth and generosity.

Rhonda attended elementary school in Shady Point, OK. She was a 1970 graduate of Poteau High School. She received her bachelor’s degree from Northeastern State in 1974. She pursued her passion for education, becoming a beloved teacher who inspired her students to reach for the stars. She had a gift for making each child feel special, and her classroom was a haven of creativity and encouragement. She taught seventh grade geography in Broken Bow Middle School for forty-four years until her retirement in 2015. Rhonda's influence extended far beyond the walls of her classroom, as she became a mentor and friend to many in her community. Rhonda's love for her family was the cornerstone of her existence. She was a devoted mother.

She is preceded in death by her parents the late Eugene and Mahdeen (Eidschun) Beutelschies.

Rhonda leaves to cherish her memory her son, Rocky Grant of Broken Bow; a special cousin, Patricia Eidschun of Poteau, OK and a multitude of friends.

Graveside Services are set for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Shady Point Cemetery, Shady Point, OK with Bro. Larry Matthiesen officiating.
