Richard Glenn Bray passed away at his home on January 13, 2026, at the age of 39. Richard entered this world on September 12, 1986, in Idabel, OK, to Ricky and Sherry Bray.

Richard's life was marked by a zest for adventure and a passion for the great outdoors. He could often be found hunting, fishing, or searching for arrowheads. His love for sports was undeniable, with a particular fervor for his favorite football team, the Oklahoma Sooners. The thrill of the casino also brought joy to Richard, where his charismatic and persuasive nature shone brightly.

He had the gift of gab, a trait that served him well. His ability to connect with people and make them smile was unparalleled, and he was often jokingly said to be able to sell ice to an Eskimo.

Above all, Richard's profound love for God was the cornerstone of his life. His faith was deep and unwavering, and it guided him in his unconditional love for his family. He was a loving father, with a special bond with his daughter Rylee that was evident to all who witnessed it. Richard's sense of humor and his kindness will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Preceded in death by his grandfathers, William Richard Bray, Stanley Walker, Bill Sargent, and Dannie Cobb.

Richard's memory will be cherished and kept alive by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted parents, Ricky and Sherry Bray;  sisters, Tamara Colson and husband Derek, Kimberly Yeargan and husband David, daughters Rylee Bray and Lexi Light, son Sean Light,  granddaughter, Emma Light, grandmothers, Doris Walker and Betty Sargent, along with one niece, several nephews, and a multitude of aunts, uncles, and friends, will forever remember Richard's warm presence.

Visitation will be held 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. Sunday, January 18, 2026, Bunch – Singleton Funeral Home Chapel Broken Bow, OK.

Funeral Services are set for 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 19, 2026, Bunch – Singleton Funeral Home Chapel Broken Bow, OK.

Interment to follow at Holly Creek Cemetery, Holly Creek, OK.
