Rod Miller passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the age of 68. He was born the son of Sam and Nedra (Wooldridge) on July 1, 1956 in Sand Springs, OK.
Rod and Michelle Wood were united in marriage on May 23, 1998 at McBirney Mansion in Tulsa, OK and shared twenty-six years together.
Rod was on the Beavers Bend State Park Board. He was an employee of Oklahoma Natural Gas for forty plus years. Rod was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting. He taught Wood Turning at several schools including Broken Bow and Wright City. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Nedra (Wooldridge) Miller, daughter, Jessica Miller and brother, Raymond Miller.
Rod leaves to cherish him memory his loving wife, Michelle Miller of the home; son, Rodney Ryan Miller of Sand Springs, OK; six grandchildren, Morgan, Madison, Tanner, J.T., Devlyn and Gage; mother of his children, Twyla Miller of Sand Springs, OK; good friends, Earl Braddy and Chris Wood; many other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is set to 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 9, 2024 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow, OK.
