Roy Wayne Evans formerly of Broken Bow passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at the age of 59 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He was born September 16, 1964 in Clovis, New Mexico the son of Troy Wayne and Vera Yvonne (Wilmoth) Evans.

Roy was a 1982 graduate of Broken Bow High School. He worked as a welder in Oklahoma, Kansas and North Dakota. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and working on his Jeep and pickup. He never met a stranger and enjoyed playing the Slot machines.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Yvonne Evans; niece, Rita Brantley and brother-in-law, Kevin Monroe.

Roy leaves to cherish his memory, daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Aaron Harder Broken Bow, daughter, Samatha Evans of Idabel; daughter and son-in-law, MacKenzie and Lane Wallace of Marion, Kentucky; one son, Braxton Hindman of LA; brothers, Rodney Evans and wife, Judy of Broken Bow, Randy Evans of Garvin; sisters, Rhonda Brantley of Eagletown, Robin Shupert and husband, Darin of Idabel, Ranelda Colson and husband, Kenneth of Golden; grandchildren, Tyler, Andrew and Kelsie Dillard of Idabel, Jaden Harder of Broken Bow, Forest Wallace of Marion, Kentucky; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Victory Life Church in Broken Bow, OK with Pastor Jimmy Jeter officiating.
