Rudolph Brantley, 97, of the Broken Bow community, completed his earthly journey on April 15, 2025. He was born on September 27, 1927, to parents, Matt and Lizzie (McClinton) Brantley.
A longtime member of Pine Top Missionary Baptist Church. One could often find Rudolph outdoors, embracing nature. An avid sportsman, he found joy in fishing and hunting, sharing these pastimes with family and friends alike. Rudolph was also known for raising exceptional deer and coon dogs. His work with horses and cattle showcased his deep connection to the land and the creatures that inhabit it. Rudolph's love for "riding around" was more than a hobby, it was a way for him to connect with the people he loved.
He is preceded in death by his parents Matt and Lizzie Brantley; his brothers Darvil, Julus, and Dale Brantley; sister Marie Vaughn.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 75 years, Bobbie of the home; son, Bill Brantley and wife Deborah of Eagletown, OK, daughter, Julie Brantley of OKC, OK; brother, Bobby Gene Brantley, and wife Lucille of Broken Bow grandson, Galen Matt Brantley and wife Chanel of Eagletown, OK; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Services are set for 2:00 PM, Friday, April 18, 2025 at Pine Top Missionary Baptist Church, Broken Bow, OK with Bro. Johnny Proctor, Bro. Mike Durham and Bro. Joe Looney officiating. Interment to follow at Pine Top Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK.
