Ryan Brett "Boy" Noahubi passed away on January 18, 2026 in Dallas, TX. Born on February 12, 1986, in Talihina, Oklahoma.
Ryan was affiliated with the Kulli Chito Church of Bethel. He was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation. His patriotism shone through his service in the US Army. He was part of the 3rd Squadron 7th Cavalry division 'Desperado Troop' 3rd Infantry Division (Rock of The Marne) and he served two tours in Iraq. An enthusiastic sportsman, Ryan was known for his love of the OKC Thunder and the Denver Broncos. His competitive spirit was evident in his enjoyment of playing cornhole and fishing, and he was an avid O.U. fan. Ryan's high school years were spent playing basketball and baseball at Hartshorne High School, where he famously scored 40 points in a single basketball game—a story he relished sharing, much like Al Bundy's classic tall tales.
Above all, Ryan was a devoted father and a beacon of fun to his children. Whether he was aggravating his nieces and nephews or spending quality time with his kids and family, his presence was a source of joy and entertainment.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Battiest and Mary Noahubi, his aunt Pauline McGee, his uncles, Melvin and Norvell Noahubi, his aunt Katie Noahubi, and his cousins Angelo Tinajero and Jared Noahubi.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Selina Lopez, and her husband, Jorge, of Bethel; his father, Andres Martinez of Broken Bow; and the mother of his children, Jamilia Noahubi of Seminole, OK. His legacy continues through his beloved children, Josiah D Noahubi, Isaiah W Noahubi, and Meli D Noahubi, all of Seminole, OK; his brothers, Jerome Noahubi and his wife, Robin, of Bethel, Adrian Martinez and partner Keiton, and Juan Martinez, all of Bethel; and his sisters, Adrianna Martinez of Broken Bow and Carmelita and her husband, David Standridge, of Battiest; his "best friend & battle buddy" Dontae Burns, his other Battle Buddies, Jay Sean Clements and Fred Martin, his special friends, Billy Wade and Rita Anna, and the countless nieces, nephews, other relatives, and multitude of friends who will miss him deeply.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services are set for 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel Broken Bow, OK with Bro. Archey Crosby and Christian Noahubi officiating. Interment to follow at Kulli Chito Cemetery, Bethel, OK.
