Saundra Kay Millican Obituary

Saundra Kay "Miss Kay" Millican, a cherished mother and grandmother, passed away on December 20, 2025, in Paris, Texas, at the age of 81. Born on November 15, 1944, in DeQueen, Arkansas, to the late Kelsie and Gertrude Ross.


Saundra, affectionately known as "Miss Kay", lived a life marked by joy, adventure, and an unwavering dedication to her family. Her passion for life was contagious. Whether she was trying her luck at the casino, twirling around the dance floor, or embarking on a new adventure, she did so with full-hearted enthusiasm. Above all, her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was her greatest treasure, and she cherished every moment spent with them.


She is preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children, David Lynn Miller and her brother, Nelson Ross.


She leaves behind a legacy of love in her children Kathy Thompson and Kevin, of Salem, OR and Broken Bow, Ken Miller and Carla of Broken Bow, OK, Kelly Renea Wilson and Chris of Paris, TX. Jason Millican and Tina of Gervais, Oregon; her significant other, Charlie Crook of Paris, TX; her sister, Gail Bell and Tommy of Branson, Missouri; her grandchildren: Kacharel and Blake, Kachton, Kachleigh and Gage, Ashli and Josh, Michael and Cassidy, Megan and Justin, Kodi and Lars, Taylor, Katelyn, and Tyler;  great-grandchildren, Oscar, Roane, Baxter, Reed, Jackie, Georgia, Everly, Juliet, Asher, Iris, Malia, Hadleigh, Daxton, Rylan, MiKayla, Ariel, Emma, and Noah brought her immeasurable happiness and were the recipients of her boundless love and support. Charlie Crook's children, Marcia and Rob, Bill and Tammy, and Amy, along with their children, Pricillia, Hunter and Maddie, Alexis and Austin, Victoria, and Chase; along with countless other relatives and friends, will miss her deeply.


Graveside Services are set for 12:00 PM on December 30, 2025 at Crown Hill Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK with D. J. Harris officiating.


Visitation and food after the Service at Kathy and Kevin’s home located at 507 E Memorial, Broken Bow, OK. Parking available in the yard.
