Shonda Lynn Snead, known for her spirited nature and love for life, passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 53. Born on June 22, 1971, in DeQueen, Arkansas, to Bobby White and Edna (Tidmore) White.

Shonda's early years were filled with the sounds of music and the beauty of the outdoors which she adored throughout her life, she was often found tending to her garden, and flowers. Her laughter was a frequent and welcome sound to those who knew her, and her ability to be the center of attention. A lover of music, Shonda's younger years were punctuated with the strumming of her guitar. She was a dog mom and loved them dearly. She loved being around and playing with kids.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bobby White and mother, Edna (Tidmore) White; the father of her son, Ross Edward Snead; maternal grandparents, Athon and Juanita Tidmore; paternal grandmother, Dessie White; sister, Rhonda Mullen.

Shonda is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Samantha Snead; grandchildren, Peyton and Parker Snead; sister, Gail Kincaid all of Broken Bow; mother-in-law, Martha Carbajal of Golden; stepmother, Darla White of Broken Bow; nieces and nephews, Shayna White, Derik White, Anthony and Ashley Lumia and Kourtney Everett; a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 611 East 3rd Street Broken Bow, OK

Memorial Services are set for 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 13, 2025, at Victory Life Church, Broken Bow, OK with pastor Jimmy Jeter officiating.
