Stanley Brand Obituary

 

 

Stanley Lee Brand passed from this life August 8, 2021, at the age of 56. He was born June 12, 1965, in Muskogee, OK the son of Glen Wallace and Cleva Dell (Morgans) Brand.

Stanley was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He joined the Navy after graduating from high school. After serving in the Navy for a few years he transferred to the Army so he could go to Warrant Officers school. He traveled many places on Navy and Army ships. He served in the Gulf War on the Army ship. After twenty-two years he retired as WC3 warrant officer and returned to his hometown of Broken Bow.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Grover Cleveland and Ada Naomi (Evans) Brand; maternal grandparents, Wilbur L and Ruby Myrl (Woolard) Morgans; and father, Glen Wallace Brand.

Stanley is survived by his mother, Cleva Dell Brand of Broken Bow; brother, Stephen Glen Brand and his wife, Lanelle, children, Michael Brand and Kayla Palacios, Melanie and Jeremy Wells and daughter, Kennedy Mae Wells; sister, Stephanie Lynn Talley and husband, Mark, children, Bret Talley and wife, Alexis, Aimee Talley and children, Halleigh, Everleigh and Hagen; a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service is set for 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 19th at Crown Hill Cemetery with Pastor David Hall & Elder Fred Bray officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to First Presbyterian Church 204 S. Costilow, Broken Bow, OK 74728 or Goodland Academy P.O. Box 1056 Hugo, OK  74743-1056.
