Stephanie Brooke (Johnson) Britton

Stephanie (Johnson) Britton, age 40, entered her Heavenly Home peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at MD Anderson in Houston, TX surrounded by her loving family. She was born Saturday, September 26, 1981, in DeQueen, AR, to parents, Don and Kathy (Harris) Johnson.

Stephanie married the love of her life, Anthony Britton on August 25, 2000 at First Baptist Church, Broken Bow and they shared twenty-one wonderful years together.

Stephanie was a member of Charity Baptist Church, where she and both of her children were baptized in 2018. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. She was a 2000 graduate of Broken Bow High School. Stephanie truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; fishing with her kids and family, shopping with her mom and daughter, Kaylee, traveling with family, taking care of her flowers and loving on her pets. Her children were her life, she loved watching Kaylee play basketball and watch her guys race their cars.

Stephanie shared her love, compassion and skills of nursing as an LPN Nurse throughout the county with her Home Health Patients. She treated them like family and many of her elderly patients adopted her.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James and Ruby Johnson; maternal grandparents, Walter and Gladys Harris; aunts, Ardie Myers,  Ruby Nava and Ann Johnson, aunt and uncle Brenda And Bobby Dollar ; cousins, Kenny Johnson and Helen Ross; mother-in-law, Kathy Britton.

Stephanie is survived by her loving husband, Anthony Britton; her children, Jaxon and Kaylee Britton all of the home; parents, Don and Katherine “Kathy” Johnson; brother Terry Johnson and wife, Julie all of Broken Bow; father-in-law, Tony Britton, and wife, Ileen of Frankston, TX; nephews, Trystin, Dawson and Kamden Johnson all of Broken Bow; sister-in-law, Krystal Moore of Wright City; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; a multitude of special friends and co-workers.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Sunday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services are set for 2:00 p.m., Monday afternoon at Charity Baptist Church, Broken Bow, OK with Bro. Clint Bray officiating. Interment will follow at Broken Bow Cemetery, E Memorial Rd., Broken Bow, OK.
