Stephen L. Osborne, 81, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, June 30, 2022 in Paris, TX. He was born on September 27, 1940 in Bowling Green, KY, the son of the late Garnett Osborne and Beatrice (Motley) Osborne.

Steve, also known as “Ozzy”, spent a lot of his life working in the Forest Industrial Business as on-site prep throughout many states. He also owned R&S Trucking with his wife Ruth until they retired in 2010. He enjoyed living and spending time on lower Mt. Fork River in Broken Bow, OK with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roger Osborne; step-son, Kirk Davis and grandson, Newt Davis.

Steve leaves to cherish his memory, wife Ruth of the home; son, Jon Osborne of Scottsville, KY; brother, Donivan Osborne of Indiana; step-son, Kevin Davis and wife, Diannia of Battiest; step-daughter Tonya Igleheart of Paris, TX and (Read Barnhill) of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Presley Axton, Hannah and Kayla Igleheart, Reed Osborne and Natalie Born; great-grandchildren, Dawson Cowan, Jett and Rhett Axton, Evan Axton; as well as a multitude of friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M., prior to the service.

Funeral Services are set for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Westbrook officiating. Interment to follow at Battiest Cemetery, Battiest, OK.
