Steve Petticrew completed his earthly journey on Sunday, September 15, 2024 in Idabel, OK at the age of 72. He was born May 19, 1952 in Schenectady, New York, to the late Robert and Lillie Mae (Thornton) Petticrew.

Steve married Lee Butler on May 24, 2011 in Broken Bow, OK and they shared thirteen years together.

Steve was affiliated with Haworth Assembly of God Church. He was a Physicians Assistant most of his life, working locally at Kiamichi Family Medical Clinic in Idabel. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, gardening, and fishing. He valued spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lillie Mae Petticrew; granddaughter, Samantha Boone.

Survivors include his wife, Lee Petticrew of the home; sons and daughters, Heather Petticrew of New York, Joshua Petticrew of Alaska, Brianna Covington of Honey Grove, TX, Terry Boone, Jr. of North Dakota, Russell Boone of Glover, OK, and Shawn Boone of Redwater, TX; brother, Bob Petticrew of New York; sisters, Linda Petticrew and Susan White both of Florida; several grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, Sadie Boone; numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Thursday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home, Broken Bow, OK.

Funeral Services are set to 10:00 AM, Friday, September 20, 2024 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow, OK.
