Steven Duane Cooke passed from this life Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in Paris, TX surrounded by his loving family at the age of 49. He was born January 15, 1973 in DeQueen, AR the son of Duane and Debbie (Laxton) Cooke.

Steven was a 1991 graduate of Broken Bow High School. He was an OCC Operator at International Paper. He loved fishing with his son, Cameron and enjoyed spending quality time with his family and watching Star Wars and The Golden Girls.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Lois Laxton; paternal grandparents, Lewis and Jeanie Cooke aunt, Joanie Williams and uncle, Lowell Cooke; mother-in-law, Joyce Phelps.

Steven leaves to cherish his memory parents, Duane and Debbie Cooke; children, Cameron Cooke, Hagen Smith (Kaitlyn), Lexi Scott (Trey); mother of his children, Tonya Cooke; uncle, Dale Laxton all of Broken Bow; cousin, Malicha Reynolds; granddaughter, Kinzley Smith; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m., Saturday morning at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home. With interment to follow at Broken Bow Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK.
