Teather Anna Obituary

Lifetime county resident, Teather Beth Anna, 32, passed from this life, October 2, 2020, in Dallas, TX.

Teather was born, March 24, 1988, to Will and Judy (Hodge) Hensley, in Talihina, OK.

Teather was a 2007 graduate of Battiest High School where she exceled in softball and basketball. She was All Conference Fast Pitch and Slow Pitch player her Freshman through Senior years and was the only player selected from Battiest on the Oklahoma All State Softball team in 2007. Teather briefly worked on pipeline construction with her father and sister but then she met and fell in love with a wonderful man. Teather and Dewayne Anna were united in marriage on May 21, 2011. It was after her marriage that her true life began. Teather devoted herself to taking care of her family and loved cooking for them and friends. But she also had various other accomplishments that she worked hard for. Teather obtained a certificate of completion in Medical Coding and Billing, she also received a diploma in Theological Bible Studies from Faith Bible Institute. Teather was a member of the Choctaw Baptist Church and loved serving God. Her loving nature will be greatly missed by her family, especially by her devoted husband, children and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gary and Wilma Hodge; great-grandparents, Warner and Thelma Cooper, J.L. and Myrtle Hopper, Hoyt and Ilene Hensley, and Owen and Irene Hodge; brother-in-law, Tim James; aunt, BJ Hodge; bus driver and aunt, Nancy Jefferson; cousins, Marcia Williams, Lezly Hodge and Lucas Hodge; niece, Ivanna Aranda; nephew, Jacob Allen Yanez.

Teather leaves to cherish her beautiful life, her husband of nine years, Dewayne Anna of the home; children, Paizli Anna and Kambrie Anna both of the home, Alicia Anna, Shayla Anna and Solomon Dewayne Anna Jr. (D.J) of Gurdon, AR; grandson, Adrien (Little Man) Gulley; grandparents, Glen and Ellen Hensley; parents, Will and Judy Hensley of Bethel; mother and father-in-law, Margie Hernandez and her husband, Heriverto of Idabel, Solomon Anna Jr. and his wife, Jackie, of Broken Bow; brother, Chance Hensley and his wife, Crystal, of Blossom, TX; sister, Shandy Price and her husband, Josh, of Battiest; brothers and sisters-in-law, Chris Anna of Oklahoma City, OK Shannon Yanez of Williston, ND, Kristi Aranda and her husband, David, of Hope, AR, Todd Wesley and his wife, Sarah of Broken Bow, Beth Wesley of Broken Bow, Hayleigh Gray and her husband, Greg, of Broken Bow; nieces and nephews, Karbi Lou, Logan Rubble, Makya Grace, Timber Mae, Elijah Yanez, Kodah Yanez, Brooklyn Anna, Timothy James Jr.; her church family;  many other friends and family members.

Viewing for family and friends will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 8, 2020, at the Battiest Softball Field with interment to follow at Bethel Cemetery. Bro. Joseph Carroll will officiate.
