Teresa McKeever-Lawhon

Teresa McKeever-Lawhon passed from this life Friday, January 27, 2023 at the age of 64 surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 31, 1958 in DeQueen, AR the daughter of O’Neal and Dixie (Gipson) Tollett.

Teresa was a devout member of Wright City First Baptist Church and loved her Church family. Her family was her life. She took pride in caring for her kids and grandkids and made sure they were always well fed. Nonna loved spoiling her grandkids and attending all of their special events. Teresa was a very classy lady and enjoyed dressing fashionably and worked each summer so that she could dress the way she wanted. She enjoyed her cosmetology clients and sharing stories about life events with each one of them.  She had a big heart and loved to help those in need. She was a blessing to everyone she met and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, Roy McKeever and father, O’Neal Tollett.

Teresa leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Jim Lawhon of the home; mother, Dixie Tollett of the home; children, Bruce and Rachel McKeever, Julie and AJ Jefferson all of Broken Bow, James and Katie Lawhon of Houston, TX; brother, Monty Tollett and wife, Kim,; sisters, Mary Hash and husband, Terry, Paula Paul and husband, Rocky; grandchildren, Roman and Deacon McKeever, Jaxon Jefferson, Kaylon, Mary Grace, Colten and Jase Lawhon; a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and a multitude of friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 30, 2023 from 6-8 pm at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services are set for Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 2 pm at First Baptist Church in Wright City.

Interment will follow at Glover Cemetery.
