Tommy Davis

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Tommy Glen Davis, 60, of Broken Bow entered his heavenly home on October 23, 2020.

The son of Charlie and Mable (McKinney) Davis, Tommy was born on December 11, 1959 in Talihina, OK. Tommy was a graduate of Broken Bow High School, class of 1979. On April 25, 1983, Tommy married the love of his life, Donna Harkins. He worked for the Heartway Corporation as a maintenance supervisor. When he wasn’t at his everyday job, Tommy was also a volunteer firefighter for Broken Bow Fire Dept., serving for over 25 years. Tommy was also one of the first crew members of the Choctaw Nation Firefighters, traveling to fight forest fires. He was an Elder and member of the McGee Chapel Church.

Tommy enjoyed OU Sooner and Washington football, but not the Dallas Cowboys. Any sporting event of his children or grandchildren, he was there cheering them to victory. He will be dearly missed.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; three nephews, Billy Joe Davis, Christyan Boswell and Eric Boswell.

He leaves to cherish his memory, Donna, his wife of 37 years; four children, Amy Davis of Idabel, Tommy J. Davis of Broken Bow, Jeanna Davis and fiancé, Brent Minter, of Broken Bow, Audra Davis and Ashley Hightower of Broken Bow; four brothers, Greene Dale Davis and his wife, Jolene, of Broken Bow, Wayne Davis and his wife, Sue, of Dallas, TX, Clifford Davis of Bethel, Charlie Davis Jr. of Bethel; three sisters, Melba Jean Lily of Tyler, TX., Helen Hester and her husband, Ray, of Garvin, OK, Bobbie Scott and her husband, Don, of Idabel; four grandchildren, Jaden Davis, Aron Davis, Aubrey Hightower and Adrian Hightower; numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing will be from 6-8 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chuck Darby and Bro. Greene Dale Davis officiating.

Interment will follow at McGee Chapel Cemetery in Broken Bow.
