Tommy Lee Stickle

August 1, 1939 ~ March 17, 2022 (age 82)

Obituary

Tommy Stickle, 82, of Broken Bow passed away on March 17, 2022 in Ada, OK after battling Parkinson’s and COVID.

Tommy was born on August 1, 1939 to Willie and Myrtie Stickle in their home in Nanih Chito, OK and graduated from Smithville Highschool in 1958. He married Brenda Burgess in June 1959 and together they have shared nearly 63 years of a life well lived.

Tommy was passionate about hunting and fishing. He dragged his last buck down Big Linson at the ripe age of 77. He had a big sweet-tooth and an even bigger heart. His legacy will be carried in the many stories and ‘tommyisms’ that will continue to be shared with generations to come. He is already deeply missed.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Brenda Stickle, of Broken Bow, two children, their spouses, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents, three sisters, a grandson, and friends who were just like family.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 19th at Crown Hill Cemetery in Broken Bow.
