Troy Grady Pratt, 84, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed away on June 9, 2026, in Idabel, Oklahoma. He was born on August 23, 1941, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and lived in the community his entire life.

Grady was a devoted husband, father, father-in-law, Papa and friend whose life was marked by faith, hard work, and steady love for the people around him. He was a member of Pine Top Missionary Church and had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that guided his daily life. He was faithful in reading his Bible and attending church. He spent his life working hard and providing well for his family. He was known as a loving and caring person who took his responsibilities seriously and did everything he could to care for those he loved.  He worked for several years at the Weyerhaeuser Craig Plant and later for McCurtain County District #1, where he was appreciated for his strong work ethic and dependable nature.

Outside of work, Grady enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved gardening, yard work, and spending time outdoors. He found joy in staying active and taking care of the things around him. One of his greatest joys was watching his grandsons, Carsen and Crew, play basketball and baseball. He took great pride in their lives and loved being present for their activities and accomplishments.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Leona Pratt; his daughter, Angela Pratt; his brothers, Dale Pratt and wife Martha, and Norval “Bud” Pratt.

Grady is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Shirley Pratt, of the home; his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Catrice Pratt; his grandsons, Carsen and Crew Pratt, all of Broken Bow; Steve Robinson and the County Barn Crew; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory.

Graveside Services are set for 10:00 AM, Friday, June 12, 2026 at Broken Bow Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK with Pastor Joe Looney officiating.
