Tamekia L Robinson, 46, died on August 19, 2024, at her home in McAlester, OK. She was born December 3, 1977, in DeQueen, AR, to Wanda Ruth and Johnny Ezell of Tom, OK.
Tamekia graduated from Haworth High School, Class of 1996, and from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Class of May 2021. During her college tenure, she served as an Upward Bound Program mentor and was the director of the Latch Key Program for a few years. She married Benjamin Robinson, and to this union, four beautiful girls were born.
Her father, maternal grandparents, and parental grandfather precede her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories four girls, Trinity Robinson of Stillwater, OK, Nadiaa, Amiyah, and Baylee Robinson, all of Oklahoma City, OK, her grandmother, Altis Ezell of Tom, OK, her mother, Wanda Ruth Ezell of McAlester, OK, one brother Jimmy Ezell of Oklahoma City, OK, one sister, Altis Rutherford (Chad) of McAlester, OK and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A service of remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 24, at New Dora Missionary Baptist Church, 244 New Dora Rd, Haworth, OK 74740. Interment will be at St Luke Cemetery, Tom, OK.
