Tyler Heath Gammon passed in his sleep the morning of October 5, 2023, at the age of 26. He was born February 12 of 1997, to parents Doyle Heath Gammon and Kimberly Janee Gammon. Tyler is preceded in death by his uncle, Jamie Don Gammon; his maternal grandfather, Dewey Stroud; and his paternal grandparents, Jessie and Don Gammon. Tyler is survived by his maternal grandmother, Kowanda Stroud; his parents, Doyle Heath and Kimberly Gammon; his sister, Jamie Grace Gammon; and his son, Zeppelin Ray Gammon.
Tyler Heath was known for many things during his life. He had a sharp tongue and relentless sense of humor, fathomless knowledge, and an unwavering love for those close to him. He was also known as a skilled musician— truly, a jack of all trades and a master of most. He loved chess, film, music theory, history, and entertaining. He was a brilliant and vulnerable songwriter and had a deep passion and undeniable gift for playing the guitar. Tyler lived and loved fiercely. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services are set for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel with Steve and Kim Lewis officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Idabel, OK.
