Tyler Lane Schaffer, age 22, of Broken Bow, passed from this life May 5, 2021, in Plaquemine, Louisiana.
Tyler was born October 7, 1998 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Mitchel Leon Schaffer and Leslie Walker.
Tyler enjoyed fishing and hunting, listening to music, walking, and riding the buggy. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, most of all his brother, Kyle. He always loved helping anyone in need. He was always smiling and laughing. Tyler also loved to shoot guns, go camping, and play casino games. He’d do anything to make anyone happy and see a smile on their face.
Tyler was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Elton Schaffer and Bobby White; great-grandmother, Wauleah Wagstaff; great-grandfather, Lonnie Loper.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Mitchel Schaffer and Brandie Johnson, of Mt. Herman, OK, and Leslie Meade and husband, Daniel, of Mena, AR; brother, Kyle Schaffer and wife, Carli Verret, of Broken Bow; sisters, Amber Schaffer and wife, Shan Thomas, of Atlanta, TX, Lexi Schaffer, Summer Mitchel, both of Broken Bow, and Emory Arndt, of Montana; nephews, Haiden Crudup, Kolby Crudup, and Gunner Schaffer; niece, Makenna Schaffer; an unborn niece/nephew; grandmothers, Darla White of Broken Bow and Peggy Walker of Haworth; uncles, Briant Schaffer, Willie Schaffer, and Rusty Kykendall, all of Broken Bow, and Brandon Walker of Talihina; as well as, many other family and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, May 12, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be at 2:00PM, Thursday, May 13, 2021, at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home, with Bro. Jimmy Jeter officiating, burial will follow at the Hochatown Cemetery.
