Valee Edd Percy, 72, formerly of Broken Bow passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024, in Hot Springs, AR. He was born June 2, 1952, in Oklahoma City, OK, the son of Val and Clara (Harris) Percy.
Valee met Lisa Ann Carper, the love of his life, in Glover in 1986. Together, Valee and Lisa had a blended family, having four boys. On July 1, 1989, Valee and Lisa were united in marriage in Glover, Oklahoma.
Valee worked at Stagecoach upholstery, then later merged with his brother ‘TAK’ for the remainder of his career. Having a combined 30 years in the upholstery business. He enjoyed restoring cars and building motors. Spending time traveling and occasionally fishing. One of his passions was collecting hot wheels, Ed Routh memorabilia, model cars and classic cars. Valee would always call just to check in and see how you were doing and to let you know he was thinking about you. Valee loved spending time with family and friends. You never saw him without a glass of unsweet tea.
Valee was proceeded in death by his parents: Val and Clara (Harris) Percy; son, Geoffrey Dean Percy; brother, Charles Garrett and sister, Rebecca Sue Garrett.
Valee leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Lisa of the home; children, Lee Percy and Sharon of Eagletown, Ok; Quentin Percy of Durant, Ok; Matthew “Poncho” Percy and Carlee of Broken Bow, Ok; brothers William ‘TAK’ Garrett and Betty of Valiant, Ok; Ronald Percy and Cindy of OKC, Ok; grandchildren, Zack Percy, Colten Percy, Bobbie Lee Ann Lawton, Sienna Gilmore, Sailor Percy, Castin Percy, Keaston Percy, Keith Ray Stone Percy, Kaslee Jo Opal Percy; great-grandchildren, Hadleigh Percy, Brynleigh Percy, Jannon Percy, Jaxon Lawton, Jayce Lawton; nieces and nephews; Clyde Percy, Rhonda Armstrong, Terry Lynn Garrett; and a host of grandnieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow, OK.
