Vickie Whitehead passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026 in Plano, TX. She was born October 13, 1954 in Chelan, WA to parents, Houston Whitehead and Carrie Talley.

Vickie worked at Tyson Hatchery for twenty years then moved on to EPI (DeQueen, AR) for twenty plus years where she was known as “bossy cow” before moving on to her final work place, Lori’s Store where she worked alongside all of her kids and was still known as “the boss”, where many people are going to miss walking in and having what may have been just a small conversation, but she loved all of her customers. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donny Earl Burcham; parents, Houston Whitehead and Carrie Jean (Talley) Whitehead; her sister, Sandra Garcia.

Vickie is survived by her daughters, Laura Stafford (Chris Wright) of Eagletown, Donna Booth of Eagletown, Keshia Burcham (Prince Hill) of Broken Bow and son, Justin Keith Burcham of Eagletown; her sisters, Karen Blum (Steve) of Oakland, OR, and Glenda Fitting (Kevin) of Roseburg, OR; grandchildren, Jaron Stafford, Jeremy Stafford, Khristian Wimbley, Kiara Wimbley and Karsyn Don Burcham, Cayzlei Clouse; great-grandchildren, Kyson, Madison, Jorjah and Tailsey Stafford; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home, Broken Bow, OK .

Funeral Services are set for 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home, Broken Bow, OK with Bro. Melvin Gibson officiating.

Interment to follow at Eagletown Cemetery, Eagletown, OK.
