Obituary
Wanda Jane Green McElrath of Wright City, OK passed away on July 12, 2023 at her home, age 88. She was born June 18, 1935 in the Herndon community to Lee and Merlie Green.
Wanda graduated from Wright City High School in1952. Her most enjoyable years of work was at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas where she met many celebrities including Elvis Presley.
She is preceded in death by her parents Lee and Merlie Green; sisters, Pat and Chuck Peters, Alma (Ray) Mitchell, Ella (Tommy) Knox, Ila (Lee) White: brother, R.C. Green; husbands, Ronald Williams and George McElrath.
Wanda is survived by her sister, Betty Jennings of Wright City, OK; sister-in-law, Cathrine Green of Broken Bow, OK and a host of nieces and nephews; a very special nephew, Jera McCary 0f Wright City, OK. She was affiliated with the Assembly of God church.
Funeral Service will be held at the Wright City Assembly of God in Wright City, OK, July 14, 2023 at 2PM with Bro Tag Rowan officiating.
Burial to follow at Slater Memorial Cemetery in Wright City, OK
