Wanda Louise (Elrod) Alt-Roden, passed from this life Monday, June 19, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Wednesday, June 29, 1932 the daughter of Hulbert and Beatrice (Hollis) Elrod.
Just ten days shy of her 91st birthday Wanda was called home. She was a beautiful soul with lots of spunk. Independent, determined, and feisty are just a few of the characteristics that made Nano/aunt Wanda the person that will be deeply missed.
We lost the last of the Elrod siblings. Wanda’s life was filled with love and laughter, she never met a stranger. There was nothing that she couldn’t do. She enjoyed life to the fullest.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hulbert and Beatrice Elrod; daughter, Patricia Marston; brothers, James Elrod, Cody Elrod and Walt Elrod; sister, Ruby Archie; special niece, Judy Archie; great-grandson, Michael Luke Weeks.
Wanda leaves to cherish her memory, her grandchildren, Rhonda James (Larry) of Florida, Leslie Robin-Rogers (Amy Pruett) of North Carolina, Kevin Green (Misty) of Watson; great-grandchildren, Kayli Marston, Kylia Hilton (Pony), Kolby Green and Sage Rogers; niece, Susan Rothstein (Tim); nephews, Justin Madison, Audie Elrod and Richard Archie; a host of other family and a multitude of friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is set to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow, OK.
