Wayne Queen passed from this life Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the age of 86. He was born December 4, 1936 in Smithville, OK to parents, Albert (Buck) and Frances Mary Ann (Mandy) Queen.

Wayne was a member of the Tiner Church of Christ and loved his church and church family. For many years he owned and operated Queen’s Auto Repair and Machine where he served a large part of the community. He was an avid hunter and loved sharing stories around the campfire. In later years he enjoyed taking his wife, Margie to estate sales and yard sales where they also found their love for Braums. He also enjoyed gardening and taking care of his dogs. He was a family man and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert (Buck) and Mary Ann (Mandy) Queen; wife, Margie Queen; brother, Ray Queen; sister, Estelle Brown and husband, Billy Brown.

Wayne leaves to cherish his memory son, Larry (Buddy) and wife, Gina; daughter, Sharon Johnson all of Broken Bow; sister, Fay Gray and husband, Kenny of DeQueen; sister-in-law, Rita Queen of Broken Bow; grandchildren, Brooke Gambol and husband, Chase of Broken Bow, Lauren Rothfuss and husband, Todd of Roland, OK and Bryce Johnson of Broken Bow; great-grandchildren, Addison Gambol, Mace Gambol, Shelby Rothfuss and Blakely Rothfuss; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, January 5th at Bunch Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services are set for 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 6th at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Queen officiating. Interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK.
