William Benjamin "Ben" Logan Obituary

Ben came into the world on the least Monday of Mondays. His birthdate was the topic of lifelong conversation and one of the many unique things about him. With a birthday like 8-8-88, he was impossible to forget. Ben was a spunky, inquisitive child with endless amounts of energy. He had a knack for getting into mischief, but his smile was infectious and his hugs had the ability to erase any transgression.

Ben enjoyed many things throughout his life. He was a prankster who loved to laugh and had the confidence to be outrageous in his antics. Video games and computers were a lifelong passion of his. He built computers for himself and friends. He loved recreational shooting, Game of Thrones, and Music. Ben had vast musical knowledge and an eclectic taste. He found meaning in lyrics and had a unique knack for fitting songs with people.  He used music to heal and it also brought him great joy.

Ben loved to know the inner workings of things. As a child it was toys and things he could see and touch, as an adult it was minds and ideas he wanted to dissect. His thirst for knowledge and understanding was a cornerstone of his unique soul. His physical appearance was of great stature, but his heart was soft and warm. He loved hugs and long conversations. He found comfort in deep, meaningful relationships and his mission in life was to heal the hurt in himself and others.

Ben served in the United States Air Force as a munitions specialist. He was stationed at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, and served a tour at Al Dhafra Air Base, UAE. Ben knew he wanted to serve in the armed forces from a young age and his time serving offered him great experiences he cherished.

Ben Logan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fred and Earlene (Christian) Walker; paternal grandparents, Charles Ray and Martha Rae (Voyles) Logan; aunt, Dee Walker; uncles, Alan Logan and David Wasson; cousins, Gail Ware and Hollyn Allensworth.
