Willie Mae Frady Obituary

Willie Mae Frady, 82, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed from this life into eternity, March 12, 2021, in Paris, Texas.

Willie Mae was born February 12. 1939, in Coalgate, OK, to Willie Steel and Donnie Mae Shults Steel.

She and James “Rooster” Frady were married for 32 years.

Willie Mae enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, and camping. She was a good cook, especially her chicken and dumplings. Willie Mae also enjoyed spending time outdoors, sitting on the front porch. She loved her family dearly and was of the Baptist faith.

Willie Mae was preceded in death by her husband, James “Rooster” Frady; her parents, Willie and Donnie Steel; one son, Jamie Frady; and a brother, Joe Bill Steel.

She is survived by her sons, Phillip Kennedy and wife, Lynn, of Camden, AR, B.J. Kennedy and wife Joi, of Valliant, OK; her daughters, Judy Dorries and husband, Billy, of Broken Bow, OK, and Caren Musser and husband Tony, of Nelson, NE; sister, Jackie Saunders, of Choctaw, OK; grandchildren, Shea, Tabitha, Brad, Jeannie, Phillip Jr., Billy Duane, Tommy Jack, Chad, Eric, Logan Keith, John, Kasey, Emma, Lindsey, Josh, J.C., and Jessica; 26 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren; as well as, a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

 

A viewing for Willie Mae will be on Monday, March 15, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00PM, at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at 2:00PM, at the Broken Bow Cemetery, with Bro. Philip Snow officiating.
