Wilma Jean Wiley-Latta entered into her heavenly home Sunday, June 18, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 28, 1938 in Hochatown, OK to parents, Marvin Edward and Virgie (Risenhover) Wiley.
Jean was a founding member of Hochatown Assembly of God Church and served as church secretary for many years. She was a devout Christian and a loving mother and grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Calvin Latta; parents, Marvin and Virgie Wiley; brothers, Tommy Wiley, Bob Wiley and Paul Wiley.
Jean leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Ken Ogden of Broken Bow; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Rena Latta of Broken Bow; sister, Winnie Hawkins of Midwest City; grandchildren, Dennis Farley and Alicia of Grant, OK, Jennifer Ogden and Brian Robinette of Broken Bow, Adam Ogden and Maria of OKC, OK, Candi Russell and Casey of Coalgate, OK, Josh Latta and Nikki of Broken Bow; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Bailey, Tracer, Austin, Jack, Caden, Harli and Sky; great-great-grandchildren, Emersyn, Eleanor, Amelia and Hayesly; best friend and running buddy, Martha Westbrook; a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.
Funeral Services are set for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Hochatown First Assembly of God Church, Hochatown, OK with Bro. Melvin Baker and Ken Ogden officiating. Interment to follow at Hochatown Cemetery, Hochatown, OK.
