Winford Trenel Wooten Obituary

Winford Trenel Wooten was born January 17, 1973 in Idabel Oklahoma to the late Charles Winford Wooten Sr., and Ada Marie Wooten. he was the 3rd child born out of 8 children. He grew up in Broken Bow, Oklahoma on Washington Street, and later moved to Idabel,. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1995. Winford better know as Tiger was a 1991 graduate of Idabel High school, while serving our country he also managed to get multiple degrees, acquired various skills, and received numerous awards and honors, after serving 26 years in the army he retired and became a truck driver.


 Winford “Tiger” loved his family dearly; especially his Grandkids, nieces and nephews! They were so special to him. And although he loved them, he was no nonsense! He also had a love for fishing, Dallas Cowboys, Sooners and the Lakers. He also love traveling.


 Winford “Tiger” departed this life on Friday March 10, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Winford Sr., and Ada Marie Wooten, his brother Charles W. Wooten Jr., his sister Charlesetta Marie Wooten, his Sister Christy Wooten, his maternal and paternal grandparents. He leaves to cherish his memory, His Wife: Teresa Wooten of Sumter South Carolina, Two Sons:


Winford Wooten JR “TJ” of Macon, Georgia, Kamren (Tiara) Bender of Warren, Ohio. One Daughters: Shaquayla Wooten of Oklahoma City, Ok. 3 Bonus Daughters:  Ty’Liyah (Minko) Bell, Chantora Wandick,  of Lawton, OK, and Haysia Randle of Newport News, Virginia. Five Grandchildren: Daae’ Vaughn, Ka’Leah, Kamren Jr. Noah and Ju’el.  Two sisters: Carla (Timothy) Miller of Mineral Springs, AR, Jeanetta (Ray Sr.) Hawkins of Mineral Springs, Arkansas. Two Brothers: Jason (Kendra) Wooten, Texarkana, TX and Adrian Wooten of Marianna, AR, Sister-In-Law: Lisa Wooten Mineral Springs, Arkansas. Plus, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.


 Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2023 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.


Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Macedonia Baptist Church, Broken Bow, OK with Pastor Larry Rutherford officiating. Interment will follow at Lukfata Cemetery under the direction of Bunch Singleton Funeral Home.
