Randy Keith Newsom

Randy Keith Newsom, 65, of the Cisco Community, passed away, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at his home. Randy was born January 24, 1952 in Hugo, Oklahoma, the son of Harvey Newsom and Mary Pauley Newsom.  Randy and Darlene Jackson Newsom were united in marriage on January 26, 1974 in DeQueen, Arkansas. Randy had worked for Weyerhaeuser in Wright City, Oklahoma for 36 years.  He was affiliated with the Forest Hill Baptist Church. Randy  enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at his cabin. He cherished his family and friends and enjoyed his time with them.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Mary Newsom; brothers, Larry Dan and Harvey Newsom.

His memory will be forever cherished by his wife, Darlene Newsom of the home; sons, Brian Newsom and fiancée, Sophia of Garvin and Chris Newsom of Idabel; daughter, Francis Griffith and husband Zeph of the Forest Grove Community ; grandchildren, Bayln Newsom and Carli Gillean, Hollyn Newsom and Drew Allensworth, Bodee Newsom, London Newsom, Jase Griffith and Trevor Wood: sisters Karen Briley and husband Mike of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Tangee Courtney and husband R.C. of Princeton, Texas; sister in law, Carol Newsom of Aubrey, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow with the Bro. Johnny Caldwell and Bro. Curtis Sullivan officiating.

A private interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery in the Forest Grove Community, Idabel, Oklahoma.
